About Isabel
Isabel Goode-DeBlanc is an impressionistic artist; she prefers painting from life. She is a plein air painter, painting landscapes on-site. Using natural light, i.e.,“Alla Prima”, she creates realistic portraits and nudes. Born in Mexico and growing up on the Texas Gulf Coast, Isabel has been an artist since she was four years old. Her artistic gift is demonstrated by her wide range of subjects and the various media she utilizes: oils, pastels, and watercolors. Isabel has exhibited in Texas, New Mexico, California, and Mexico. She has had many one-woman showings, most recently at the Deserve Gallery in San Miguel de Allende. Her work can be seen currently at Dos Lunas Gallery and the Indigo Gallery in Ajijic, and at Galeria La Manzanilla in La Manzanilla. She resides in Ajijic, Jalisco, with her husband.
